Karesh OPens chicagoland’s First Custom Mirror & Glass Design Center & Showroom

 Homeowners invited to June Grand Opening

 WOODRIDGE, IL JUNE 6, 2007 – Karesh Mirror & Glass, Inc., a premier provider of custom interior mirror and glass solutions announced today that homeowners are invited to visit the grand opening of Chicagoland’s first Mirror & Glass Design Center & Showroom featuring an array of room vignettes displaying creative and unique custom mirror and glass applications. 

The stunning Karesh Mirror & Glass Design Center & Showroom covers 1,400 square feet with one-of-a-kind glass applications and displays and includes another 4,000 square feet of dedicated space for the Karesh Mirror & Glass new headquarters and its glass fabrication operation.  Located at 1940 Internationale Parkway, Woodridge, IL, Karesh Mirror & Glass, is open from 8.00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m Monday thru Friday and available by appointment on evenings and Saturdays.

All visitors during the month of June will receive a complementary 19 oz. can of Karesh Industrial strength Hi-Sheen® Glass Cleaner, with a $5.00 retail value.  The Karesh Mirror & Glass Design Center & Showroom was created to serve trade professionals such as designers, architects, homebuilders, remodelers and contractors as well as homeowners.

            “We developed this showroom to be truly unique in our industry,” said Mike Karesh, Co-Owner, Karesh Mirror & Glass, Inc. “The Karesh Mirror & Glass Design Center & Showroom is an ideal location for designers and architects to meet with their clients to select and coordinate custom glass finishes and treatments. Homeowners can come and visit to learn more about what is available and possible with custom glass by actually seeing real-life vignette applications.”

            Unique custom mirror and glass such as ice glass, cobalt blue glass, heat-treated back painted glass, frameless shower doors and thick glass countertops are all on display. Also shown are kitchen, bathroom, bar, dining room and fireplace glass applications in distinctive and tasteful real-life room vignettes. Until now, custom mirror and glass operations simply warehoused glass for fabrication with minimal displays.

            On May 18, Karesh Mirror & Glass hosted a gala VIP Open House for area trade professionals including designers, architects, homebuilders and remodelers.  “The positive reaction to the new Mirror & Glass Design Center & Showroom by the trade professionals was overwhelming,” Karesh said.

            Serving Chicago and suburbs as well as cities throughout northern and western Illinois, western Michigan and northwest Indiana, Karesh Mirror & Glass was founded in Downers Grove, IL in 1987 by Co-Owners Mike and Angela Karesh. The firm was previously located in Woodridge (6804 Hobson Valley Drive) before relocating in September 2006. Construction on the showroom began in November and was completed this month.
